Isn't it still a secret even if everyone knows?
If it is to be a secret, someone must be excluded.
Sometimes I fancy I am the one, but then I realize that is self-delusion of the highest order. I feel guilty; my guilt pleases me.
Yes, guilt does that. Which defeats its purpose sometimes.
