The magic box has magic seeds in it. And the magic seeds yield, naturally, magic plants. And what are the qualities of these magic plants?

They are invincible. You cannot root them out, hard as you try. But why would you wish to, anyway? They're magic.

They spread, inexorably. They colonize the parks, the streets, the houses. The animals. See that man stumble - he has a plant through his eye. They twist themselves around our necks, penetrate our souls.

The earth is soft now, silent. It is a violent silence - whoever thought there could be such a thing? But now there are no thoughts...
