Great image! Nancarrow booms and kerplinks like a slightly hyper emu pecking at a newly discovered piano, alternately puzzled/afraid of the instrument but unable to keep its beak off it.
Yup, thought it would interest you. When I encountered these lines yesterday, I just burst out laughing. Part of me suspects that Muldoon just loves the sound of "Conlon Nancarrow"...
